Description
SONIC Type F automatic transmission fluid is a highly oxidation resistant long-life fluid specifically designed to meet the high friction co-efficient required by older Ford transmission.
Applications
All Ford C4 and FMX automatic transmissions, as well as all pre 1976 C6 Ford automatic transmissions require SONIC Type F fluid. The Type F fluid can also be used in automatic transmissions of Toyota and Volvo vehicles. SONIC ATF Type F is fully approved for Ford specification ESW-M2C33-F.
Performance Features
The following are the features of SONIC Type F fluid:
- Has a higher friction co-efficient at low sliding speeds.
- Oxidation inhibitors to prevent deposits on transmission parts.
- Corrosion inhibitors prevent acids from attacking transmission parts
- Does not cause excessive swelling or shrinkage of seals.
Availability
SONIC Type F is available in 12 x 1 litre only.
